My Story
Hi, I'm Lexa! I'm a wife and mom of a beautiful little girl living in Buxton, Maine. I'm originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to Maine in 2019 and have loved every second of being in this beautiful state! I've been practicing photography for about 15 years and have a Certificate in Photography and Digital Imaging from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
It's funny.. when I first got into photography about 15 years ago, I had very little interest in portrait photography. In my head, I was picturing those stuffy family photos where the family coordinated outfits, got set up perfectly in front of a camera and the outcome was a sometimes-awkward family picture with forced smiles. You know the ones I'm talking about.
Once I learned that wasn't the only type of portraits that people wanted done, I fell in love. My goal is to capture the natural, small moments in yours and your family's life in a beautiful photo that you'll want to keep for years to come. I want you to look at those photos and remember how you felt in that exact moment.
